My MOYA essay (MOYA= month of young adolescents)

            I would be a very enthusiastic candidate for your school. I am careful to complete all assignments to my best ability, I have led students that are behind in class to be caught up, and I volunteer as much as possible. I have written a few examples below.

            The carefulness of my schoolwork is extraordinary. First of all, I don’t rush through my homework. Most kids rush and get bad grades. I don’t rush and get better grades than them. I also either write clearly or I type. I usually write, so it’s very important for me to write neat. The last thing to write about is how I’m a perfectionist. Most people take perfectionist the wrong way, though. I just like everything to show my best work.

            My leadership skills are very important. I am very organized. That’s good because if I’m not organized I wouldn’t be able to find my notes. I also work well with others. If I wasn’t able to work well with others, it would be a disaster when I try to lead them. I am glad that people like and listen to my ideas. I hope you do, too.

            Besides for the carefulness of my school work and my leadership skills, I have another quality. I do community service and I volunteer to do them. Every year my church holds a Gluten Free Food Fair. A Gluten Free Food Fair is a fair of food that’s gluten free. Every year I help pass out some things to the visitors. Another thing that I do is packing lunches. These lunches are for the kids that go to schools and get school lunch. The reason we pack their lunches is because the schools don’t have enough funds to afford the school lunches. I also have a lot of extracurricular activities. That’s when I volunteer my own time for other things. I am a part of Girl’s Choral Academy, Young Author’s, and I am signing up for Student Council.

            Here’s where I come to an end. As I put earlier, I help a lot, people listen to my ideas whether crazy or sane, and I never rush through my work. This paper here took hours to finish. I would be delighted to be at your school and please consider me as a candidate for your school.
